Gift Orban Excited to Join Olympic Lyon

Super Eagles striker, Gift Orban has said he is delighted to join Olympic Lyon and promised to lift the French Ligue 1 club with his goals, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 21-year-old striker has signed a contract with Lyon until 2028.

According to him; “I worked for this moment for a long time. I am very happy to be here with goals. I like to score goals and I want to do more for this club.”

Orban said he is also thrilled to play alongside Lyon icon and former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.

"Lacazette is a very big player and I am happy to play in the same team with him."

The striker joined from Belgian club KAA Gent and the immediate target is to move them from relegation zone after a difficult first round in the season.

They are in the relegation playoffs spot with 16 points from 18 matches.
