Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, made headlines in the Italian Serie A on Thursday as he clinched Globe Soccer Award at the expense of Spain's Gavi, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The ceremony was held in Dubai today and the Nigeria international was prominently featured among the list of winners.

 Osimhen was named Best Emerging Player Of The Year ahead of Barcelona’s Gavi and Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.

Osimhen is the current top scorer in Serie A with 9 goals.
