Black Stars of Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey, has described the goal he scored against Nigeria's Super Eagles in the Qatar 2022 World Cup playoffs round in Abuja as his career's greatest moment, reports BSNsports.com.ng.

Ghana qualified for the World Cup at the expense of Nigeria via the away goal rule after the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Arsenal midfielder was responsible for the goal scored by the former African champions at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

While speaking on Joy Radio in Ghana, an elated Partey tagged the goal as the greatest in his career.

" I’ll say it’s the most important goal in my career at the moment. It’s a goal that took us to the World Cup so I feel happy, the whole team felt happy and the country was happy, so it’s a joy to be the one to score that goal. I feel blessed and I feel happy," he said.

Ghana are drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
