Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers has expressed excitement after he scored his first goal for Serie A club Cremonese, though rued his team's defeat to Napoli, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers moved to Cremonese from Belgian Pro League KRC Genk this summer for € 6 million after scoring three goals and making two assists.

The Nigerian bagged his first Serie A goal in a 1-4 home loss to Napoli at the weekend.

He posted: "First goal in Serie A, scoring under our curve was a great emotion. We continue to grow, to the next! Forza Cremo🔘🔴."

He was replaced by Emmanuel Aiwu in the 72nd minute.
