Guineans Shutdown Streets to Welcome Sylic Stars of Guinea After AFCON Crash Out

It was a heroic welcome for the Syli Stars of Guinea as the Senior Football Team of the country of fourteen million people returned to Conalkry after it crashed out of the ongoing Cote d'Ivoire 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Male, female, young, middle-aged age, and old residents of Conakry, the capital city of Guinea, shut down the streets to throw a heroic welcome for the Syli Stars of Guinea players.
Guinea crashed out of the AFCON 2023 tournament after suffering a 3-1 defeat to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the quarter-final stage of the competition.
Guinea defeated Equatorial Guinea with one goal to nill in the round of 16 as it advanced from the group stage with four points after defeating Gambia with a lone goal, and holding the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon to a 1-1 draw, although Guinea was defeated with two goals to nill by Senegal in the final match of the group stage.
Football fans reacting to the heroic welcome given to the players agreed the honor given to the boys would encourage them to put more efforts into their next football encounter for the country.
