Gusau Happy To Chair Inaugural NFF Meeting As New President

The newly elected Nigeria Football Federation President Ibrahim Musa Gusau has expressed his excitement as he presided over the executive meeting for the first time, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The newly elected board had their inaugural meeting on Tuesday at the NFF office in Abuja with Gusau presiding as President of the federation.

The former Zamfara FA chairman emerged as President at the NFF election held in Benin City Edo State on 30th of September, 2022

While speaking after the maiden Executive Board meeting Gusau was happy with the situation and said the outcome of their meeting will be revealed through a communique that will be released.

"This is our inaugural meeting and the former president was with us two hours ago. It is the first official meeting in which the former President will hand over to the incoming President and the Secretariat of the NFF.

"We discussed our agenda for the future of Nigeria football extensively and the outcome of the meeting will reveal through our communique.

"What I did today is very new to me because I have never sat down to preside over a meeting as President of the NFF and this is my first time I'm happy it was a very fruitful discussion", he said.
