Gusau Leads Football Family in Paying Final Respects to Chukwueze's Mother

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and President of WAFU B, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON), on Friday joined family members, friends, and well-wishers in paying their final respects to the late mother of Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The burial ceremony took place at Isieke Primary/Secondary School in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, drawing dignitaries from across the football community and beyond.

Alhaji Gusau personally conveyed his condolences to Chukwueze and members of his family, offering words of comfort and support during the solemn occasion. His presence underscored the close bond that exists within the Nigerian football family and the federation's commitment to standing by its players during moments of personal loss.

Also present at the ceremony was Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association and former Nigeria international, Chikelue Iloenyosi, who joined other football stakeholders in honouring the memory of the deceased.

The funeral service provided an opportunity for members of the football fraternity, community leaders, and sympathizers to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Mrs. Chukwueze, whose contributions to her family and community were fondly remembered.

Samuel Chukwueze, one of Nigeria's most accomplished footballers and a key member of the Super Eagles, has received an outpouring of support from teammates, football administrators, supporters, and fans following the passing of his mother.
