Handball: HFN Announces Date And Venue For 2nd Phase Of Top-Tier League

The Handball Federation of Nigerian( HFN) has finally announced the date and venue for the second phase of the top-tier league, BSNSports.com.ng understands.
The first phase ended in Abuja in May with defending champions Kano Pillars and Safety Babes leading the league tables of the Men and Women's categories respectively.
According to the press statement released by the Secretary General of the federation Almu Umar Lambu, October 22nd - November 3rd has been picked as the date at the University of Lagos Sports Complex, Akoka.
The Handball Premier League, which is in its fifth edition, consists of 22 teams with the Women's category having 10 teams while the Men category, has 12 teams.
Four teams (two in each category of Male and Female league) will be relegated and four teams from the National Division One League 2022 currently holding in Benin City, Edo State will gain promotion to participate in the Premier League next year.
