Handball: NHF President Charges Team Nigeria Not To Relent

Following their impressive exploits in the just concluded IHF regional qualifier, the Nigeria Handball Federation President Mr Sam Ocheho has urged Team Nigeria not to relent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria U18 and U20 men's teams emerged as winners of their respective categories in the competition that just concluded in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Apart from winning they also qualified for the continental trophy in Brazzaville, Congo.

While reacting to the team's performance, Ocheho encouraged the teams to keep working hard as they still have many mountains to climb.

 "I am so happy that you all went to Ivory Coast unassuming and came back heroes. 

"Your exploits in the championship were one that people will not forget and I want to congratulate you for making Nigeria proud.

"I on behalf of the board of the federation congratulate you and we want to charge you not to relent on this effort as there are still more mountains to be climbed and more feats to achieve.

"We still have the continental championships and that is important in our quest to get into the World championship. 

"So we urge you to keep the momentum and the federation will continue to support you as you commence preparation soon," he told the federation media.
