Handball: National Division One League Kicks Off In Benin City

Hostilities have commenced in the Handball National Division One League in Benin City, Edo State, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The state 2 weeks ago hosted phase 1 of the Handball Premier League with phase already in the pipeline.

Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Mr Almu Umar Lambu confirmed the arrival of the team for the league.

The competition will end on July 28, while the teams are expected to depart from Benin on July 29.

The top two teams in the men's and women’s categories would be promoted to the 2024 Handball Premier League.
