Handball: Safety Shooters Gets Vital Win On Day 4

Safety Shooters got a vital victory to be on the tail of leaders Kano Pillars on day 4 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League Season 5 phase 2 ongoing at the University of Lagos Sports Center, Lagos.

The 2020 champions played with all seriousness as they defeated Niger United 29-23 to remain 2nd on the log albeit just 2 points shy of surpassing defending champion Kano Pillars who didn't slip up and are still unbeaten as they comfortably won Seasider Boys of Lagos 38-27 in the male category.

Other results of the male category saw Owena Kings and Police Machine played out an interesting 22-22 victory while Rima Strikers defeated Benue Buffaloes 30-26

Tojemarine Academy defeated De Defenders 24-20.

In the women category, Seasider Babes of Lagos defeated Benue Queens 28-21 while Safety Babes defeated Bendel Dynamos 26-22.

Defender Babes defeated Rima Queens 27-23.

The MVPs for Day 4 are Yayha Owolabi of Tojemarine Academy in the Male Category and Inikpi Aruwa of Safety Babes
