Handball Federation Invites Four Bayelsa Queens For U18 Championship In Ghana

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has invited four Bayelsa Queens handball players to camp ahead of the U18 International Handball Federation IHF Women Trophy 2023, Zone III Africa slated from 11th - 15th of April, 2023 in Ghana.
The showpiece which is organized by the International Handball Federation IHF and the Confederation of Africa Handball CAHB in collaboration with the Handball Federation of Ghana will see players of the Yenagoa-based handball stars having the luxury of competing with their peers in the gold coast nation.
The invited players are Elizabeth Godgift Otodo, Maureen John Vrabade, Blessing Jumbo, and Vera John alongside Head Coach Opuene Yekerogha for the U18 Championship in Ghana.
According to the federation schedule, camping for the championship would commence from the 26th of March to April 9th, 2023 at Rowe Park, Yaba, Lagos State in preparation for the event.
The selected players are expected to report to camp with their traveling documents which include a valid international Passport, Yellow fever vaccination card, and COVID-19 vaccination for the trip.
The invited players were integral parts of the squad that qualified the Yenagoa-based side to the Prudent Energy Handball League after winning the National Division One Handball Championship in Benin City last year.
