Handball League: COAS Extend Lead, Sunshine Kings Win Big On Day 2

COAS Shooters continued in their quest to gain promotion back to the top tier handball league as they extended their victory on day 2 of the National Division One Handball league ongoing in Benin City, Edo State on Monday.

COAS Shooters comfortably defeated Nasarawa Ambassador 30-20 to lead the men category.

Other matches in the men category saw Cross River and Yobe Boys play out an entertaining 30-20 draw while Adamawa earned their first victory in the league with an emphatic 39-24 victory over Osun United.

Sunshine Kings of Akure earned the biggest win of the Matchday as they defeated Mindscope Academy 35-18.

In the women category, Ekiti easily defeated UNIBEN 30-19 while Mindscope Academy defeated Rivers Queens 24-19
