Heartland Disowns Former General Manager

Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Heartland FC has issued a strong worded disclaimer on its former General Manager, Promise Nwachukwu, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The management in a statement disowned Nwachukwu and warned individuals, football bodies and organizations against performing any official duties with him.

The statement reads: "The management of Heartland Football Club wishes to categorically inform the general public and all relevant football stakeholders, including but not limited to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), that Mr. Promise Uchenna Nwachukwu, former General Manager of Heartland FC, no longer has any affiliation with the club in any capacity.

"He ceased to be part of the club since July 2024 but in the light of recent events, it has become expedient to state the obvious. Consequently, Mr. Nwachukwu is not authorized to represent Heartland FC in any official or unofficial matters, nor is he permitted to act, speak, or transact on behalf of the club. Any individual, organization, or football governing body that engages or transacts with Mr. Promise Nwachukwu under the impression that he represents Heartland FC does so entirely at their own risk.

"Heartland FC will not be held responsible or liable for any agreements, representations, or commitments made by Mr. Nwachukwu or any person or body dealing with him under such assumptions.

"We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to reposition Heartland FC for professionalism and integrity."
