The hope of England-born, Nigeria descent Anthony Joshua to win the World heavyweight boxing title was dashed in the early hours of Sunday as he suffered another defeat in the hand of Oleksandr Usyk BSNsports.com.ng report.
Usyk, had last year defeated the defending champion in London and he was able to retain his IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO titles in a split decision.
Despite an improved performance from Joshua, the first judge had 115-113 in favour of Joshua while the second 115-113 to Usyk and the third 116-112 to Usyk.
The next bout for the Ukrainian boxer now will be against Tyson Fury who is already retired but the first assignment is to see whether he can convince him to come out from retirement.
