 Nigeria's Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi has made history by becoming the first Nigerian man to win the NCAA men's javelin title after a remarkable performance at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nnamdi sealed the historic triumph with a massive opening throw of 82.26m, a mark that proved unbeatable throughout the competition.

 The Nigerian star dominated the event, with both of his throws beyond the 80-metre mark being sufficient to secure the prestigious collegiate crown.

He finished ahead of Keyshawn Strachan, who recorded a best throw of 80.65m to claim second place, while Jack Larriviere completed the podium positions with a throw of 77.91m.

The victory marks another significant milestone in Nnamdi's promising career and further highlights Nigeria's growing presence in field events on the international stage.
