As Göztepe aims to keep their hopes alive for qualifying for the European Cups by defeating Çaykur Rizespor in the Super League on Sunday, Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis have emerged as top transfer targets, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
Bundesliga clubs are showing interest in Dennis, who was transferred to the U19 team last season but quickly became an essential player for the A team at just 20 years old.
Reports suggest that Hoffenheim has made the most substantial move for him so far, while Augsburg and Mainz 05 have also expressed interest.
Meanwhile, Sport Republic is not considering selling the Brazilian star Romulo for less than 15 million Euros and has set a significant transfer fee for Dennis as well, although the specific amount has not been disclosed.
This season marks Dennis's first experience in the Super League, and he has played in 29 matches, totalling 2,466 minutes on the field.
The Nigerian player has also contributed to the team's offence, registering 2 assists.
