House Committee On Sports Chairman Hails Super Eagles After Libya Win

Chairman House Committee on Sports Honourable Kabiru Amadu has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their well-deserved victory over Libya in the 2025 AFCON Qualifying match in Uyo on Friday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Super Eagles picked all three points against their opponents with a 1-0 win to maintain the top spot in their group.

Reacting after the game, the lawmaker said, "The Super Eagles showed resilience and hard work, defeating their opponent despite a good fight posed by the Libyans."

The Zamfara State-born lawmaker added, "The NFF has done great work in picking the right technical crew for the Super Eagles pending the appointment of a substantive Coach."

The Chairman, however, charged the boys to go to Libya next week to secure all three points in Benghazi.
