House Committee On Sports Invites NOC

The House Committee on Sports has invited the Nigeria Olympics Committee to appear before it on Thursday 30th May 2024, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The invitation according to the Chairman House Committee On Sports, Honourable Ekene Adams is to know level of preparedness and readiness for the Olympics.

The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) is the National Olympic Committee for Nigeria, responsible for co-ordinating and supporting Nigerian competitors in the Olympic Games. It is also the body responsible for Nigeria's representation at the Commonwealth Games.

Speaking exclusively with BSN Sports, he said, "We invited the Nigeria Olympics Committee to come on Thursday 30th May, 2024 and let Nigerians know the level of preparedness and readiness of the contingents to the 2024 Olympics in France.

"We are more interested in Team Nigeria recoding the best performance at the Games. To this end, we need to know plans on ground for athletes who have qualified and those yet to qualify and where necessary improve the plans to achieve the set objective." He concluded
