Head Coach of Rivers Angels, Tosan Blankson has revealed how he motivated his team to beat Delta Queens with a cash gift promise, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rivers Angels dominated Delta Queens 3-0 in the South-South derby, with Mary Moses scoring a stunning hat-trick.

The matchday 12 fixture lived up to expectations, showcasing the artistry of both teams at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

Blankson praised his players for their dominant display, attributing their success to his cash promise of N100,000 if they beat Delta Queens.

"It wasn't easy to psyche the players up after the defeat in Lagos. They gave their all, got the chances, and converted."
