Nigerian and Udinese of Italy goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has described how he became a goalkeeper by accident, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

The 24-year-old revealed how it all happened during his chat with Tribalfootball.

" I started as a striker but turned into a goalkeeper by accident.

" Yes, growing up it has always been the one and only Nelson Dida of Brazil", he said 

The Super Eagles shot-stopper had a splendid second half of the season with the Italian Serie A side despite having it rough earlier in the season.
