I Ignore The Negative Vibes Regarding My Age- Oneme Ebi

Onome Ebi, Super Falcons captain says she ignores the negative vibes and comments regarding her age as she's not ready to quit the team any moment, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

At 39, the defender is the oldest player at this year's WAFCON tournament in Morocco. And since her debut in 2003, she has gone on to win four WAFCON trophies.  

 "Super Falcons is not an underage team, I will keep playing so far I'm fit and my body can still play. 

"I don't listen to criticism over my age, when I am tired, I will stop. For now, I'm enjoying the game."

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons are off to Casablanca for their quarter-final fixture against Cameroon on Thursday.

Recall Randy Waldrum said in his post-match of the Super Falcons 4-0 pummeling of Burundi. 

"Changing of venue won't be any factor, the pitch will be fantastic and the players are also looking forward to the game."
