I Prefer To Win The World Cup Over Champions League Titles

Nigeria's Super Eagles and AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has stated that he would prefer to win the World Cup over the prestigious UEFA Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The left-footed attacker made the statement in the Super Eagles camp while speaking to FanTribe media.

Chukwueze joined the former European champions Milan this summer from the Spanish La Liga side Villarreal.

The skilful midfielder is expected to be among the players that will lead the Serie A giant into the competition proper.

"I prefer winning 1 World Cup over 3 Champions League's!"

"Winning the World Cup for Nigeria... I wouldn't sleep for a month, I would not even pick up my coach's call!", he said.

The last time the Nigeria International played in the Champions League was with Villarreal and they crashed out to Bayern Munich.

Chukwueze has never represented Nigeria at the FIFA Senior World Cup.
