ICC Honours Nigeria As Africa’s Best Women’s Cricket Team Performer

The national cricket governing body has been recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after emerging as the Africa Regional Winner for the ICC Associate Member Women’s Team Performance of the Year award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The prestigious recognition was awarded in honour of the outstanding performances recorded by the country's women’s national cricket team throughout the year, highlighting their progress and achievements on the continental and global stage.
The award underscores the rapid development of women’s cricket in the nation and reflects the dedication of players, coaches, administrators, and stakeholders who have contributed to the team's success.
In addition to the regional accolade, the federation also received global recognition through the ICC Criiio Cricket Festivals with Rexona initiative.
