ICC U19: Nigeria Junior Yellow Green Storm India

Ahead of the International Cricket Council U19 championship in Tanzania, Nigeria's Junior Yellow Green has landed in India to commence their readiness for the World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team which has been camping in Benin City, Edo State departed the country on Monday for India.

The Nigerian side are hoping to qualify for the championship for the second time in a row having taken part in the 2019 edition in South Africa.

While in India the team is expected to go through high-performance training and play a series of matches with selected franchise teams in Mumbai over two weeks.

Nigeria will face old foes Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Namibia in the championship in Tanzania.
