ICC U19 Cricket: Nigeria Youngster Wins Batter Award, As The Team Return On Wednesday

Despite having a poor outing in the just concluded ICC U19 Men's championship in Tanzania, Nigeria's youngster Solomon Chilemayan was adjudged as the best batter in the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side has a tournament to forget as they secured only one win in 5 matches and lost out in the race to win a World Cup ticket.

The only victory came against the host Tanzania which suffered a defeat against Kenya, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Namibia.

Chilemayan was instrumental with an unbeaten 66 runs off 80 balls to guide Nigeria to the win against the hosts.

Meanwhile, the team is expected to return to the country on Wednesday.
