ICC U19 World Cup Qualifier: Rwanda Storm Nigeria

Ahead of the 2022 U19 men's ICC World Cup qualifier, Rwanda Cricket team have landed in Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Eight teams including the hosts, Nigeria are set for a showdown at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja for the qualifier.

The Rwanda team who is one of the favourites for the competition has been in a closed camp exercise in the past weeks in Kigali trying to fine-tune their skills for the event.

They departed Kigali capital of Rwanda late Tuesday night and finally arrived in Abuja venue of the qualifier in the evening of Wednesday.

They will face Nigeria in the opening game of the tournament.

Rwanda has only featured in the ICC U19 men's World Cup Africa in 2021, 20 years after the tournament began in 2001 and they finished in 4th position.
