ICC U19 World Cup Qualifier: Team Nigeria Defeats Rwanda

The U19 men's ICC World Cup started in Nigeria and it was a good outing for the host who stunned one of the tournament favourites Rwanda in the opening game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Eight teams including Nigeria as the host gathered at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja for the ICC U19 men's World cup qualifier and actions commenced on Friday.

It was Nigeria that played the opening game of the competition and it was a memorable outing for them as they proved the bookmakers wrong to beat Rwanda.

The Nigerian side won by 10 wickets which are: 42-0 and 41-10.

Nigeria will hope to continue its impressive run when they face Sierra Leone in the next match.
