ICC World Cup Qualifier: Yellow Greens Secure Double Header Victory

It was a doubleheader victory for Nigeria's cricket Team also known as Yellow Greens in the ongoing ICC Group B World Cup qualifier in Kigali Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Nigeria side started the competition on a strong note securing back-to-back wins in the first two days against Mozambique and Sierra Leone.

Actions resumed on Sunday after all the teams observed rest on Saturday.

Yellow Greens on Sunday came back back from rest day as they secured victories in their games against Eswatini and Gambia.

They defeated Eswatini by 118 wickets in the first game of the day which is 109/9 ( 20 overs) and 221/ 7 ( 20 overs).

Gambia gave Yellow Greens a run for their money but the Nigeria side did enough to win by 9 wickets.

The breakdown of the result shows that Yellow Greens won 42/10 ( 14.5 overs) and 43/1 ( 5.1 overs).

They will face Cameroon in their 5th game on Monday.
