ICC officials inaugurate top Cricket Facilities in Edo

The Nigeria Cricket Federation, (NCF) President, Mr. Uyi Akpata on Monday led the International Cricket Council, (ICC) Global Development Manager and Africa Development Manager, Mr William Glenwright and Mrs Patricia Kambarami to Edo State for high-performance cricket facilities inauguration.

The duo of Glenwright and Kambarami while in Edo State are expected to perform tape cutting ceremony at Women's Cricket Centre for Excellence, Iyoba College and High Performance Cricket Centre, Edo Boys High School.

Both ICC top officials will participate in the 1000 9ja Kids Grassroots cricket coaching clinic designed by Edo State Cricket Association to catch young passion for cricket game.

Mr Akpata who doubles as Edo State Cricket Association Chairman and PETS Foundation boss has brought tremendous growth of the game in Edo, South-south Nigeria and the country.

Mr Uyi Akpata is also scheduled to convene at the Edo State Government House where another impactful decision could be made for cricket.
