IHF Continental Championship: Nigeria U18 Female Team Starts Camping In Lagos

Ahead of the 2023 International Handball Federation (IHF) Trophy Africa Continental Phase Championship, Nigeria's U18 female team has commenced camping exercise in Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team, under coach Shittu Adewunmi Agboola, will take part in the championship as Africa Zone 3 champions following their victory in the IHF Trophy Africa Zone 3 tournament held earlier in the year in Ghana.

Team captain Esther Mattew led the invited players to the camp situated at Rowe Park, Yaba, Lagos.

The championship which is slated for 8 to 19 August will see Nigeria play alongside Guinea, Madagascar and Rwanda at the Centre Ivoire-coréen Sports Hall in Abidjan.

The winner of the competition will represent Africa in the international phase of the IHF Trophy Championship.
