Nigeria Under 18 and 20 male handball team began their IHF Trophy 2022 for Africa Zone 3 with an emphatic victory on day 1 of the championship held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Vibrant Nigeria's Under 18 boys side tutored by Coach Emeka Nnamani, ruthlessly defeated Togo with an annihilating 47 - 11 victory earlier in the day.

Taking a big motivation from the victory of the Under 18 team, Nigeria's Under 20 male team led by their gaffer, Coach Fidelis Obi went down the wire to effectively and comfortably defeat the Under 20 team of Togo 41-22.

Nigeria will want to continue the momentum today (Wednesday) in both categories as the Under 18 team will play against Liberia while the Under 20 team play against Niger Republic respectively.
