IMC Bring Forward Dakkada Fixture To Saturday, As Akwa United Gets 3 PM Kickoff Time

Rivers United's Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 4 tie in Uyo against Dakkada FC has been rearranged to Saturday 28th January 2023, the IMC has confirmed.

BSNSports.com.ng scooped from an official letter received by the club dated 24th January 2023 and signed by Davidson Owumi, Head of Operations - NPFL which read in parts.

According to the IMC, "Based on Akwa United and Dakkada FC's use of the same stadium facility, it was unanimously resolved that the Matchday 4 fixtures be rescheduled as follows.

Dakkada FC vs Rivers United which was billed for Sunday 29 January, will now hold on Saturday 28 January (at 3 pm).

While the Akwa United vs Plateau United game will still hold on Sunday 29 January but with a new kickoff time of 

3 pm as against the initial 4 pm.

The IMC then mandated the affected home teams to ensure that all logistics are put in place for the games.
