ITTF Africa President Oshodi Applauds Tunisia For Hosting Successful Championship

ITTF Africa President Wahid Enitan Oshodi has commended Tunisia for its flawless organization of the recently concluded African Table Tennis Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tunisia once again proved its capability by delivering a top-tier tournament with the 2025 ITTF Africa Cup, widely regarded as one of the best-organized continental events of the year.

The championship stood out for its high level of competition, excellent venue, and seamless live streaming of matches.

Oshodi lauded Tunisia's ability to host world-class sporting events, saying: "I am very satisfied with what we witnessed in Tunisia, particularly with the African Club Championships. The venue was fantastic, and we saw the emergence of new young talents. Tunisia’s commitment, expertise, and organizational capacity are qualities we need to develop across Africa."

He also extended his appreciation to Lotfi Guerfel and his team for their exceptional efforts.

Oshodi concluded by stressing the need for African table tennis to achieve international world-class standards within the next four years.
