ITTF Africa Youth Championship: Egypt Sweep Past Nigeria To Win U-15 Boys' Team Title

Egypt claimed the U-15 Boys' Team title at the ITTF Africa Youth Championship in Accra after a commanding 3-0 victory over Nigeria in the final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Egyptian quartet of Sameh Asser, Elsabbagh Ahmed, Eyad Hussein, and Kosba Mohamed produced a flawless performance to deny Nigeria the continental crown.

Nigeria, who had booked their place in the final after edging hosts Ghana 3-2 in a thrilling semi-final, were unable to match the dominance of the Egyptian side as they suffered a straight-sets defeat.

The victory crowned Egypt as the new U-15 Boys' Team champions, while Nigeria settled for the silver medal after an impressive run to the final of the continental championship in Accra.
