ITTF World Cup: Kallberg Dominates Aruna Quadri

It was a tough outing for Nigerian table tennis ace Aruna Quadri, who suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Sweden’s Anton Kallberg at the ITTF World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Quadri had kicked off his campaign on a high note with a solid win over Benin’s Abdel Kader Salifou on Monday.

That victory set up a crucial clash with Kallberg, who had comfortably dispatched Salifou 4-0 on Tuesday.

However, when the two met on Wednesday, Kallberg proved too strong for the Nigerian, showcasing his dominance with a commanding straight-sets win.

The result marks Kallberg’s fourth consecutive victory over Aruna in their head-to-head encounters.
