ITTF World Youth Championships: Taiwo Matti Gets To Round Of 16

Nigeria's Table Tennis youngster Taiwo Matti was the star of the show on Thursday as he qualified for round 16 of the ongoing U19 African championship in Tunisia, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Matti was the only Nigerian playing in the championship and has continued to show an impressive display.

He defeated Australia's Nicholas Lum 4-2 in the round of 32, the breakdown of results shows 11-7, 5-11, 10-11, 6-11, 11-3, and 8-11 in his favour.

He plays against Lin Shidong in the round of 16 as the competition progresses.
