Ibadan Agog As South West Basketball Showdown Gets Date

In preparation for the upcoming South West Basketball Showdown in the ancient city of Ibadan, the six participating teams are set to outplay each other to the title, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Powered by Olumide Oyedeji Youth Foundation, the competition will holds from October 11-18, 2024. The week-long championship will not only serve as an opportunity for coaches to assess and finetune their teams but also as a platform for good performance ahead of their participation at the 2025 National Sports Festival basketball qualifiers. 

The competition will feature six basketball clubs which include: Lagos State Basketball team, the hosts Oyo state, Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun basketball team. All the matches will hold at the Indoor basketball hall of Liberty Stadium, Ibadan. 

With a focus on promoting unity, discipline and talent development among the youth in the South West states, Olumide Oyedeji Youth Foundation has continued to make a significant impact on the lives of Nigerian youth while emphasizing on power of sports in fostering positive change and building a brighter future for the next generation.
