Enyimba International striker Brown Ideye is eyeing a return to the Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng, reports.

The former West Bromwich Albion forward was part of the Super Eagles squad that triumphed in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations under the late Coach Stephen Keshi.

However, he has since had intermittent appearances in the national team due to injuries and limited playing time at his previous club.

In an interview with Channels TV, Ideye expressed his desire to return to the national team, calling it an honour to represent Nigeria again.

"For sure, I will jump on it because I'm not retired from international football yet, so why not?" Ideye stated.

"If I get called up to represent my country, I’m going to honour the invite, for sure."

Ideye has been in good form, scoring twice for Enyimba in their last three matches.
