Igali Tasks Bayelsa United On Better Performance In NPFL

The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Champion Daniel Igali has called on the state-owned clubs Bayelsa United and Bayelsa Queens to up their games as the new NPFL and NWFL intensify, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Champion Igali gave the charge during a meeting with all staff of the Ministry and explained the importance of both clubs maintaining the performances the state has recorded in the past few years.
The world and Olympic champion hinged the charge on the poor performance of Bayelsa United in the NPFL which has seen them win 2 out of 9 matches and down in the relegation zone.
Equally, Champion Daniel Igali appealed for Bayelsa Queens to continue on the path of being recognized among the best female teams in the country.
Meanwhile, the youth and sports commissioner commended the staff of the ministry for their commitment and service to the State, stressing he has enjoyed unreserved support as commissioner from them.
Similarly, Champion Daniel Igali expressed his appreciation to the staff of the Ministry for voting rightly at the just concluded Governorship election in the state.
The meeting was attended by the ministry Permanent Secretary, Mrs Grace Alagoa, Head of Departments, Both coaches of Bayelsa United and Bayelsa Queens among other staff.
