Ighalo Relishes First League Title After 17 Years

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Odion Jude Ighalo is still in cloud nine after winning the Saudi Arabia Pro League title with Al-Hilal, BSansports.com.ng reports.



Apart from winning the league, the former Watford FC striker also emerged top scorer in the league with 24 goals to his name.


While reacting to the achievement through his social media handle, Ighalo is excited with the first league title in his career.


“I waited 17 years before winning my first league title. It doesn’t matter how long it takes, if you keep working hard and never give up, you will get it right one day. God is the greatest," he said.


Ighalo has played in various leagues before arriving Saudi Arabia and Al Hilal Is the second team is play for having played for Al Shabab in the past.
