Igoh Ogbu Extends Contract With Slavia Prague Until 2027

Nigerian defender Igoh Ogbu has signed a one-year contract extension with Czech champions Slavia Prague, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 25-year-old joined Slavia from Norwegian side Lillestrøm in January 2023 and has since become a key figure in the team’s defense.

With the new deal, Ogbu is set to stay at Eden Park until December 2027. Since his arrival, the center-back has made 92 appearances and scored five goals for Slavia Prague.

Ogbu earned a call-up to the Super Eagles this year in recognition of his consistent performances.

He was also part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
