Iheanacho Up For Player Of The Month Award

Following his outstanding performance in February, Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanaco has been nominated for Player of the month, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Iheanacho is up for EA Sports Player of the Month for his involvement in five goals over a two-match spell.

He scored and registered two assists in City’s 4-2 win away at Aston Villa, and also found the net and provided an assist in their 4-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur at King Power Stadium.

He will compete with Bernd Leno (Fulham), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Emerson Royal (Tottenham Hotspur), Manor Solomon (Fulham) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa).

Iheanacho was also on target on Tuesday in Leicester City's 2-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup
