The representative of Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has dismissed reports linking the player to Egyptian Premier League side Al Ahly, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Rumours emerged in the Egyptian media on Tuesday suggesting that the African champions were interested in signing Iheanacho.
However, the forward's camp has firmly denied any contact with the Egyptian club.
"No one from Egypt has approached us about the player, so the reports are entirely false," Iheanacho's representative told AS.
The 26-year-old has faced challenges in securing regular playing time at Sevilla since joining the La Liga side.
Meanwhile, Premier League clubs Ipswich Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both opened talks with Sevilla to acquire Iheanacho's services.
The talented left-footed attacker left Leicester City after helping the club secure promotion back to the Premier League.
If the transfer goes through, Iheanacho will return to English football after a brief stint in Spain.
