Ihezuo Tasks Super Falcons To Clinch 2022 AWCON Title

Despite her absence from the team, China based Chiwendu Ihezuo has stated that she wants Super Falcons to win the competition for her, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Ihezuo and Desire Oparanozie was forced out the team due to border restriction placed on China.

Their replacements have since resumed with the team as they set to depart the country for Morocco on Monday.

"I wish the Super Falcons the Best in Morocco, clinching the trophy a 10th time will atone for my forced absence ( due to border restrictions in China) in the team," she said.

Nigeria will play its first game against rivals Banyana Banyana of South Africa in the opening Group C match.
