The Nigeria National League (NNL) has confirmed that the 2026 Super 4 tournament will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium from May 1 to May 8, 2026.

The competition will determine the overall champion of the 2025/2026 NNL season following the conclusion of the regular league campaign.

Unlike previous seasons where the Super 8 format was used to decide promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), this year’s Super 4 tournament will be staged solely to crown the league’s overall champion.

NNL Chairman George Aluo confirmed the development, noting that the league’s leadership, investors, and partners are committed to delivering a well-organised and memorable competition.

According to him, the choice of venue was deliberate, with the board selecting the Remo Stars Stadium because of its modern infrastructure and high-quality playing surface.

The recently renovated facility features modern dressing rooms, a well-maintained natural grass pitch, advanced floodlighting, professional media and broadcast facilities, spectator seating, and upgraded security and hospitality areas.

Aluo added that the league’s investors, Toptier Sports Management, and partners BetPawa are working closely with the NNL to ensure a successful tournament.

“We are committed to making the Super 4 a memorable experience for teams, fans, and stakeholders,” he said, assuring supporters of an exciting week of football as the league’s best teams compete for the title.

The Super 4 tournament will bring together the top teams from the NNL divisions in a round-robin format to determine the overall champion.

The event is expected to attract football stakeholders, scouts, supporters, broadcasters, and sponsors, reinforcing the NNL’s ongoing efforts to improve the standard and visibility of professional football in Nigeria.
