Debutants, Ikorodu City FC have secured their first ever top-flight victory in Nigerian football, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Lagos State's sole representative in the Nigeria Premier Football League demolished 3-0 Bendel Insurance in match day six fixture.

Goals from Rivio Ayemwenre (48’), Kelechi Onwe (56’), and Toyeeb Ajeyigbe (74’) sealed Bendel’s worst defeat of the season and their biggest NPFL loss since 2008.
