Injury Update: Former Flying Eagles Midfielder Ruled Out Again

It was a day to forget for the Nigeria international and Watford FC midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru as he has been ruled out of action again, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The former Flying Eagles midfielder returned to competitive football in October 2022 after spending many months in the treatment room due to lateral ligament damage he sustained.

His return to action has been a good addition for the Hornets who are willing to return to the elite division in England.

The club confirmed Bashiru's injury on its website but never specify the actual period he will spend on the sidelines.

"Tom Dele-Bashiru sustained ankle ligament damage in a challenge at Swansea and is set for at least a couple of months on the sidelines.

“It adds to an extraordinary list of midfielders currently in the treatment room; contact injuries during matches accounting for more than half of those", the club statement said.
