Injury Update: Former Golden Eaglets Skipper Resume Full Training

After spending almost a season in the treatment room, former Nigeria's Golden Eaglets captain Samson Tijani has resumed full training with the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tijani sustained a career-threatening injury during a pre-season game with RB Salzburg last year and has been in the treatment room since.

After having a successful surgery he went through rehabilitation towards the tail end of last season but was never ready for a competitive game.

On Tuesday, the club confirmed his readiness to compete again in the coming season as he resumed full training with the first team.

Tijani made his Super Eagles debut in an international friendly under the former coach Gernot Rohr.
