Injury Update: Maja Out For Several Weeks

West Bromwich Albion has announced that Nigerian forward Josh Maja will be sidelined for several weeks due to a lower leg injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Championship club confirmed via their social media on Wednesday that Maja requires surgery to treat the injury.

"Josh Maja is expected to be out for several weeks after sustaining a lower leg injury. The 26-year-old striker will undergo surgery in the coming days, followed by a period of rehabilitation," the club stated.

Maja has netted 12 goals and provided 2 assists in 26 appearances so far this season.
